WHAT YOUR NEIGHBORS SAY
"Rhett Nicaud & his team were outstanding ! They were friendly, polite, efficient, professional & the perfect choice, to build our stone path. No more pulling weeds to contend with, (kudos for using the heavy mil weed fabric). The edging material, between the mulch & gravel, keeps everything neat. We are very pleased with the work and highly recommend Rhett !"
"Rhett is super nice guy, he and his crew did a great job transforming our old craggy front bed to a beautiful entry way to house. The new privacy hedge out back will bring peace and quiet back to our back porch. Thanks again for a great job!"
"Symphony build a hardscape walkway for us consisting of pavers surrounded by white marble chips. They did an excellent job. Response time was very fast, and they completed the job within a very reasonable amount of time, despite discovering a well hidden yellow jacket nest in the work area. The project was completed within the original estimate with one small addition that we as owners agreed was necessary, and we approved prior to implementation."

COMMON QUESTIONS
Most yards in and around Raleigh sit on tight red clay that will not absorb water fast enough, so it collects in the low spot and stays there. Fixing it usually means regrading the problem area and running drainage out to daylight, which is work handled alongside the patio or planting beds rather than as a separate visit. Once the water has somewhere to go, everything built around it lasts a lot longer.
For a typical residential yard in Raleigh, Wake Forest, or Rolesville, a landscape designer is the right fit. A landscape architect is a licensed professional and makes more sense on commercial sites or projects that need stamped drawings for permitting. Patios, retaining walls, planting beds, and lighting layouts on a normal lot do not usually require that.
Almost always the base. Pavers set on a thin or poorly compacted base over Raleigh clay will settle once water starts moving underneath, usually showing up first at the edges or under a downspout. Building the base deep, compacting it in lifts, and solving the drainage before the first paver goes down is what keeps a patio flat.
No. Symphony Landscape Works is design and build only, so the work is hardscaping, landscape lighting, drainage and grading, landscape design and installation, and planting. If you need weekly mowing in Raleigh or Wake Forest you will want a separate maintenance company, and the design gets built to work around whoever you have.
